Site Rules

Heritage Park is a very well kept and tranquil site set in an area of outstanding natural beauty. In order to maintain the high standard of the Park that all guests may enjoy, there are site rules that we ask ask everyone to respect. A breach of these rules may result in guests being asked to vacate the Lodge.

Vehicles
The speed limit on the park is 5mph and applies to all vehicles, which must always give way to pedestrians. No lorries, vans camper-vans, trailers, boats or commercial vehicles are allowed on the park except with prior arrangement with the Company. All motorised bikes and scooters (or similar) are not permitted onto the Park and are not to be parked adjacent to the Lodge even for short periods. Motor vehicle repairs may not be carried out on the Park but a recognised breakdown service may attend in the event of a breakdown. Only vehicles which are taxed and insured for use on a public road are allowed on the Park, and we will remove any disused or broken down vehicles. Only licence holders may drive on the Park, no driving lessons are permitted. Washing cars with a hosepipe is not permitted. Only one car is allowed by each Lodge, all other vehicles to be parked in the main car park. Vehicles must not be parked on a roadside or anywhere that is likely to cause an obstruction. All motor vehicles are used and left on the Park at the owners own risk.

Visitors to the Lodge
All visitors must report to the reception and sign the visitors register (a legal requirement from the council) allowing them permission to stay and /or visit. The Park is private property and we reserve the right to refuse anyone other than those lawfully staying in the Lodge with permission, entry into the Park. We do not permit traders or salesmen access to the Park except with our prior consent.

Pets
All pets must have individual written consent before being allowed on the Park, such permission may be withdrawn if the animal is a nuisance or if in the opinion of the Company, is likely to endanger other Park users. Only one dog is allowed in each unit (unless prior written consent is given). Certain dogs are not allowed on the Park, including American Pit Bull Terrier, Fila Brasileiro, Japanese Tosa and Dogo Argentino. All dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times and are not allowed to wander or be exercised off the lead anywhere on the Park.You must clean up immediately if the animal defecates on the Park (using the appropriate bag or poop scoop and then disposing of waste in the appointed bin area), failure to do so will be considered a serious breach of the rules.

Children
Are the responsibility of their parents or guardians, and are to be supervised at all times so that they are not a nuisance or danger to themselves or others. Children may not ride bicycles, toys or other similar items so as to cause a nuisance or undue noise. Please be aware for the safety of your children at all times in relation to vehicles travelling around the park roads.

Recreation
No ball games are allowed anywhere on the Park. No skateboards, roller-skates, rollerblades or micro scooters are allowed to be used on the Park.

Barbecues
Are permitted but only those of a type that is above ground level. Any disposable barbecues must be placed on a surface that will not burn or leave marks (they must not be placed
directly on decking verandas or grass).

Tents
No tent is permitted on the Park

Washing Lines
Rotary line must be stored away when not in use

Behaviour
Please respect the privacy of other Park users, keeping noise to a minimum. Musical instruments, stereos and radios are not allowed to be played above an acceptable level after 10.30pm. All occupiers of the Lodge must have due regard to the comfort and convenience of others and any disturbance or other action which is deemed to be a nuisance will not be tolerated. The use of unlawful drugs on the Park is a criminal offence and will lead to immediate termination of your tenancy. Alcoholic drinks may only be consumed around the immediate vicinity of the Lodge. Fireworks and firearms are not permitted on the Park. Fire hoses may not be used for any improper purpose such as washing cars etc. We reserve the right to terminate your tenancy as a result of any act of vandalism, criminal activity, other undesirable acts of behaviour, and any activity which constitutes being a nuisance to other holidaymakers. We are entitled to eject anyone from the Park who is guilty of a criminal offence or who persistently act in a manner likely to upset or annoy other users of the Park or our staff.
