The Hideaway is a perfect size Lodge for couples or smaller groups and families and is dog friendly. Very well arranged and spacious, it boasts a high level of comfort and as with all our lodges, is very well equipped. Perfectly positioned in a quiet corner of the Heritage Park, immediately adjacent to the impressive preserved buildings of the Stepaside Ironworks.
Within easy reach of a vast array of historical landmarks, glorious beaches and mountains, ‘The Hideaway’ is the perfect base for anyone looking to explore this wonderful area of Wales. After a day of exploring, you will love returning to relax and enjoy the comfort of ‘The Hideaway’
The lodge is perfectly designed with open-plan Lounge and Dining area for sociable evenings cooking in the contemporary-styled kitchen, with all utensils, crockery and appliances, including a dishwasher.
The Lounge is light, airy and very comfortable with high quality fully reclining HSL leather sofa and matching chair plus leather relaxer chair with footstool. It is also equipped with a Smart TV with Freeview and Blu-Ray DVD Player.
There are two well-presented Double Bedrooms, one comprising a King Size bed with large ‘Walk In’ Wardrobe and Dressing Room, and the other with ‘Zip and Link‘ bed providing the option of a King sized or two Single Beds, large fitted wardrobes and a separate shower room.
You can enjoy alfresco dining on the wrap-around decked veranda and enjoy the sun all day within the beautiful surroundings of the Heritage Park.
If you’d like to venture a little further to the coastal areas of Saundersfoot and Tenby, you will find pristine beaches offering opportunities for water-sports, fishing trips or boat trips to one of the local islands or for sightseeing or to watch for birds, dolphins and seals.
Within the surrounding area you will also find a magnitude of historic castles, the Welsh Zoo, Oakwood Theme Park, Heatherton, Bluestone and many other venues offering a vast array of attractions to suit a family of all ages and tastes.
